SECTOR Access

Coastal access reference

SECTOR Access brings human-drawn routes, photographs and recorded assessments together on a coastal map. It is being developed independently, with future integration into the wider SECTOR platform intended.

01 / Recorded local knowledge

A place for the detail.

01

Areas & access paths

Recorded beach and bay boundaries, local names and manually drawn access routes keep local knowledge connected to a place.

02

Separate assessments

Pedestrian access, stretcher suitability and temporary closures are recorded separately by people. New records begin unassessed.

03

Photographs & context

Route photographs, terrain symbols and recorded notes give context to an access path. An incident pin provides a location reference.

04

Possible landing areas

Manually marked outlines retain source and condition notes. These are places for further investigation; landing suitability is not assessed.

02 / Explore the prototype

Browse a shared snapshot.

The password-protected demo lets invited visitors explore the map and published records. Editing stays in the local application; the online view changes when a new snapshot is published.

Prototype / Reference information

Recorded knowledge, with its limits visible.

This prototype does not choose or recommend routes, predict tidal passability, or establish water depth and clearance. Recorded assessments and possible landing outlines do not confirm current conditions.

Fictional sample records are explicitly labelled and kept separate from user records. The viewer presents the published snapshot, not a live feed of changes or conditions.
